Son Of World’s Richest Black Woman Marries His Model Girlfriend In A Stunning $5 Million Jamboree!!!
A wedding is indeed the most special and unforgettable day in any person’s life. A dream wedding with all the loved ones in attendance, the dainty flower decoration, the decadent delicacies from all around the world, an extravagant cake and a grand palace to lay the foundation of a dreamy life ahead by turning it into a fairy tale affair. However, when the reality tunes in, the dream tunes out as not everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouth. But for the ones who are, the “unachievable” is quite a unheard word. Similar are the things with Folarin Alakija, the son of the richest black woman of the world, who probably had the most lavish wedding with everything one can only think of.
Folarin’s wedding was an opulent, no-expense spared fairy tale affair.
One of the 66-year-old oil tycoon Folorunsho Alakija’s four sons married the Iranian beauty Nazanin Jafarian Ghaissarifar in an extravagant bash at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire which is estimated to have cost around £5m. The father-of-one lost his first wife to cancer, tied the knot to his stunning model wife in front of friends, family and celebrities, including Victoria’s Secret Angel, Shanina Shaik.
While Folarin makes his money as an entrepreneur, investor and cinematographer, it’s his mother who has an estimated fortune of $2.1 billion.
Forbes rank her as the 14th richest person in Africa but the richest woman in the country. She overtook Oprah Winfrey as the richest woman of African descent in the world in 2014. It is believed that the family flew hundreds of close friends and family members over from Nigeria, who were no doubt put up in some sumptuous hotel for the weekend.
The Woodstock venue, the ancestral home of Sir Winston Churchill, was kitted out with one million white roses; the lavish cake was decorated with hundreds of ornate white roses.
According to the wedding planners, the venue was hired exclusively at a cost of £150,000 with the bespoke marquee and bespoke marble floor with their initials etched in gold costing around £200,000 on top. Guests dined on deliciously lavish food, such as barley wafers with cheddar custard and chive yogurt dip, crispy duck egg and Wiltshire truffle.
