#1 Wrap up the day
One should have a proper schedule of his/her day that includes time for everything important to them like sleep, work, family and other activities. When give your priorities the time they need, you will be more peaceful and enthusiastic towards your life.
#2 Read books
Reading is considered the best way to sleep faster, if you struggle with that. It’s not important what you read, reading a novel by yourself or to your kids, surfing around the web for the latest trends or what not, developing that habitsis important. This can be considered as another opportunity to learn something new, get inspired, generate ideas or challenge your mind with some philosophical topics.
#3 Plan and get ready for the next day
What could be better than planning your future, one step to do that is planning for tomorrow, jotting down what you need to do and get ready for the next day. For e.g. people iron their clothes and get all the documents that they need to use for the next day ready before they sleep. Know what you have to do right after you wake up, so that you won’t waste any time and can just start working on it.
Meditation is good for both your physical and mental health. Meditation works as a recharge for your energy and get you focus in what you want. So set aside a few minutes and just sit still. Let thoughts flow naturally and do not focus on something else. Then try to let go of all that, it’s past now. You need to clear your mind and eliminate those regrets and tensions for the past day if you want to go to sleep in peace and start the next day fresh. #5 Envision tomorrow
Spending at least five minutes of your day thinking about the next day before you sleep. Envision your next move, what you will do and how you will do it. Think who you will talk to and how you are going to deal with it. This helps bring a positive attitude.
#6 Write down accomplishments for the day
Write down at least three to five things that you have accomplished during the day every night. No matter how big or small the successes you achieved is. Even if it is just a phone call, five minutes reading, etc. Jot them down and practice the habit of appreciation.
#7 A Walk
Go for a short walk in the evening. It will help you put everything aside and stop thinking about the work.
It will be quiet time for yourself, without any distractions. You can also use it to reflect on different things of your interest or to just empty your mind and enjoy the silence.
#8 Most Important Tasks
Pen down the urgent things that are connected to your goals and that you want to accomplish and will affect you as a person and your future. Now try to divide them into smaller tasks, then figure out what you need to do one by one and make it easy and simple. This way you won’t have any excuses to not fulfill them. And then, if you are really motivated to succeed, you’ll get up early, and start working on these 3 right away.
#9 Saying and Thinking affirmative
Thinking positive affirmations will stay in your mind when you sleep and will help you gain confidence, belief in your goals and dreams.
