In a world where greed is the most overwhelming feeling, it is a rarity to find somebody who is selfless. Everywhere you look all you see is selfish people who care about nothing but themselves. But there are times when you come across few austere people too, who care about the world and other’s well being. If ever you see or meet somebody like that, who is willing to extend their hand to help you or somebody in need, then make sure to catch hold of them and pay them gratitude for giving hope to others.
We recently encountered a noble person who is a perfect example of austerity. This person is an ordinary man who works at a store for a regular 9-5 shift. In our eyes, he is not ordinary anymore, for the act that he did has won the hearts of many!
This man was busy fulfilling his store duties when suddenly he began hearing kitten cries. The voices were quite muffled but when he listened to them carefully, he anticipated that they were coming from the parking lot of the store.
Normally, people would listen to to any such sounds but wouldn’t pay much heed to it and later ignore. Maybe in some situations, somebody might give attention to the point of concern as to why an animal is crying but would not extend their hand to bring them out of their misery and expect others to do the needful. But this store employee proved to be an exception.
This noble man decided to investigate as to why the kittens were crying and went outside in the parking lot. To his surprise, he found that four tiny babies of a cat were dumped in a bag by a dumpster. He was shocked to see this sight as there was nobody to help the poor and helpless creatures. Not wasting a minute, he immediately took them out of the bag and kept them warm.
Itty Bitty Kitty Committee said, “An employee who works for Asplundh found these 4 little ones (who still need their momma). He took them inside and another employee put them in a box to keep them warm and safe.”
He wanted to keep the kittens safe and searched for options. His search was aided when his friend suggested him to contact Itty Bitty Kitty Committee, a rescue in Charleston, West Virginia. The friend called at the Committee and asked if they provide any help.
Dorella Tuckwiller, founder of IBKC, said, “I couldn’t say no, they had already been through enough.”
The kind employee had bathed the kittens to keep them clean. Later, he even dried their fur and combed out the remaining fleas. After cleaning them up, he fed them with some food and wrapped them up in warm blankets.
Look at these adorable kittens who are now in safe hands! The kind employee has wrapped them up in the blanket after cleaning them from the flea.
As they are only a few weeks old, they need to be fed through the bottle.
The four little babies have been taken in the IBKC foster care.
One of the four kittens is a cuddle giving machine who can simply make your day with a simple hug. The care taker feels that the hug is an ultimate stress buster!
Tuckwiller said, “Thanks to one small army, four itty bitty lives were saved.”
“We are so thankful to all involved in making these tiny ones a part of our family. Welcome to a world where you will always be safe and loved.”
We would extend a note of appreciation to all those who come forward to help the poor creatures in need.
