Zoos are delightful places which provide wonderful experience when you see some of the magnificent animals residing there. Most zoos are safe but only if you follow the rules and regulations made by the respective authorities. With a little common sense you can have a great time with your family and friends there. But one should also realize that a place that is home to hundreds of so many different carnivorous animals, savage reptiles and other dangerous species can be very dangerous if not careful. #1 Binky, The Polar Bear

Born in 1975, Binky was a polar bear who lived at the Alaska Zoo in Anchorage. An Australian tourist, Kathryn Warburton, was too enthusiastic to capture a photo of this 1200 pounds polar bear. She jumped two safety fences but was caught by Binky through the bars of his cage. Her legs were broken and endured many gashes.

#2 Melody, The Tapir

Tapirs are generally peaceful and happy to engage with animals that are found in Central and South America, and parts of Asia. But they can unpredictable and aggressive when they are with their kids. Melody, a Malayan tapir, gave birth to her baby two months back then, when she bit off the left arm of the zoo keeper Lisa Morehead.

#3 Gu Gu, The Giant Panda

Gu Gu is a giant panda who is currently residing at the Beijing Zoo. Born at Wolong National Natural Reserve, Gu GU is well known for his attacks on zoo visitors at three different occasions. He attacked a drunken man named Zhang Xinyan in 2006, a fifteen year old teenage boy named LI Xitao in 2007 and Zhang Jiao in 2009.
