107 Year Old Woman Believes Not Marrying Is The Secret For A Long Life

There is not a single person who can guarantee his/her immortal life. But surely one can have a long and happy life. This woman, named Centenarian Louise Signore, was kind enough to tell people about the secret to her joyous life.

Centenarian Louise Signore was no doubt a lucky old woman to celebrate her 107th birthday week, but she never believed that “luck” has made her reach so far. There are people who say that good genes, good health and good diet were some of the reasons for this everlasting life of hers. But denying all this, she made a quite simple statement that the only reason for this was because she never got married.

Louise was born in 1912 in Harlem, New York and then she moved to the Bronx when she was 14. She lived there ever since. Making her 107th birthday special, she celebrated it with more than 100 people at a party at her local community centre. She was even proud enough to reveal that she’d ‘had enough parties’.

Louise was firm on her statement that the only reason for her really long life was because she never got married. Also she told that her sister regrets getting married and wishes she never got hitched.

Louise’s sister is also a Centenarian, and she turned 102 a short time ago. Telling about her active way of living, Louise added that she never step back from exercising and dancing. After her lunch, she also enjoys playing bingo, so she had a full day.

Having a good health was like a hereditary in their family. Even after being 102 years old, Louise sister doesn’t take any kind of medicine. Louise herself only takes medicine for high blood pressure.

Needless to say, getting to 107 years old without even a single hitch is impossible. Louise is legally blind, recently fought off pneumonia, and a few years ago, aged 103, survived an assault and robbery in her apartment building.

Louise friend Deborah Whitaker said, “She’s got no walking cane, no wheelchair. She does all her shopping. She’s awesome.”

While Aisha Parillon, senior director of JASA, which runs senior centres throughout New York City claims that it was her attachment with her neighbors in the community and also her friends here at the senior center help her to go on smoothly with her life.

Louise praises her Italian raising as helping her to get the best 103 years of her life. She further says that Italian food is very good for one’s better health. She was brought up with very good food. No soda, no cake.
