Trying To Become A Cool Dad, This Man Shoots Himself While Spinning Gun At Daughter’s 16th Birthday

16th birthdays are way too special and this girl was excited for hers. However, things didn’t turn out the way she had excited and her dad had to be taken to the hospital as he ended up shooting himself in the stomach.

An unnamed father shot himself during his daughter’s 16th birthday party that was taking place at the family’s home on Wintergreen and Crestline in northeast Harris County. The family from Texas was in high spirits and the father was spinning the loaded gun on his hand when this accident took place and the gun injured him.

There is no word if the man had a license for the gun or not and it is also unclear if the man will face any criminal charges for the act or not.

After this incident, there was a social media campaign initiated by doctors of the United States. They wanted to raise awareness about gun control.

National Rifle Association, America’s largest pro-gun organization took an article from their website and tweeted it with a caption, “Someone should tell self-important anti-gun doctors to stay in their lane. Half of the articles in Annals of Internal Medicine are pushing for gun control. Most upsetting, however, the medical community seems to have consulted NO ONE but themselves.”

Doctors online didn’t let the organization take a dig at them and started posting pictures of themselves, most of them in blood-stained scrubs after treating a gunshot wound. The doctors just want a non-violent world and it seems like a tough thing in the world where people are promoting the idea of possessing guns.

At least guns should be banned from people who are a jackass and shot themselves while rotating a loaded gun in their hand.

One person tweeted, “As a paramedic who’s seen and treated gunshot wounds in the field, for @NRA to tell doctors, nurses, and field responders to #stayinmylane over gun violence is honestly one of the most laughable things they’ve ever said.”

There were others who tweeted in agreement. And one of those wrote, “When the blood on your hands stops pouring into my shoes that might be the day I #stayinmylane @NRA #GoBackToYourRoots.”
