Woman’s Appeal On Tinder Reunites Her With A Stranger She Fancied From Commute
The woman, whose name was, Seattle, explained that she traveled on the same number 70 to work one day. She caught sight of a man sitting across from her with who she felt a connection- but the duo never exchanged details.
Trying to find the man, Seattle, 24, updated her Tinder profile with a missed connection- asking him to come in contact with her. It further said that she made eye contact and smiled at a guy on bus 70 in November 2019and again in January 2020. She said that if he was reading this, super like.
She was very lucky as she matched with the man. His name was Greg and he confessed that he had also noticed her. Seattle was the happiest girl at that moment. Greg’s opening message was asking her that it might be embarrassing but was he the one she was talking about in her bio. He said that he used to ride in the 70 on his way to Fred Hutch. He was sure that he remembers her face and described her as the super cute redhead with the nose ring.
He continued saying that he was not sure but felt like they shared an eye gaze once or twice, and if they did, he 100% would have smiled at her. If it was true, he said that he would love to take her on a date and finally get to meet her. But if it was not for him, he would be crushed.
Seattle replied that it was not embarrassing because she was 101% sure that he was the one. She was surprised as she truly did not think that he could find him. It took her seconds to agree on going on a date with him.
The pair was dating since the first time they had a chat on the dating platform. In a follow-up video, the 24-year-old gave the details about what happened on the bus exactly. She said that back in 2019 when they saw each other for the first time, the bus reached his stop and he got off. But he looked back to the window, glanced directly at her, smiled, and shook his head.
It was at that moment she knew that she had to find this man anyhow. After two months, she was on the same bus again and they made and eye contact again but the bus was just at her stop and she freaked out. She didn’t know what to do so she just immediately got off the bus and straightway regretted it. She missed the opportunity to talk to the man.
Before putting anything on her Tinder profile, she thought maybe she should put something on missed connections. She finally put it in her profile, he found her and they went on a date.
The date was 11 hours long, and the next one was for nine hours and so it continued. It was quite obvious that they liked hanging out. That’s when she knew it would be something longer than just a hangout.
People loved her account- with many requesting her to read ‘One Day in December’ by Josie Silver. Some considered their relationship as the best story they have ever heard in their life.
